Member Notes:
Pale yellow in color with a frothy, bright white head, it actually has a very pleasant, citrusy nose that’s packed with great hop character and freshness. It’s very bright and citrusy in the mouth, light-bodied, with some barnyard-like grain and almost sour, intense hop flavor and bitterness in the finish. It’s interesting… I’m tempted to complain about the light body, but if it were thicker I’d probably complain about its mouthfeel and wheat-like characteristics. That said, I suppose it’s well balanced in body and malt composition, but the one thing that I will agree with myself on is its almost overdone bitterness and off-balance hop flavor. It’s really hard to make a great white IPA. This one is good, but unless it’s great I find no reason to drink one. - noss
Club & Brewer Notes:
Accumulation White IPA was inspired by the white beauty that falls each winter from our Colorado sky. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavor, followed by a layer of bitter. Piled high in IBUs, Accumulation will make your winter brighter.
