Little red is a Cherrywood barrel-aged imperial sour ale with sweet and tart cherries. This is the first time we've ever aged any beer in cherrywood barrels, so what better fruit to pair it with other than cherries? The base is an imperial sour which gained some abv abv and finishes at 12.4%. Little Red was aged for four months. The combination of sweet and tart cherry puree mixed with the fresh cherrywood barrels results in a delicious, balanced, cherry filled, sour ale bursting with barrel notes and smooth but tart finish.
