Anchor Brewing Company

Anchor Christmas Ale

Ale | 7% ABV | Unknown IBU
Offered By: DAVO
Club/Brewer Notes:
Our annual Christmas Ale is a subtly spiced and sumptuously smooth winter warmer. This year’s brew marks the 46th annual release of this Anchor holiday tradition. ear after year, Anchor creates a new, secret recipe with a unique hand drawn label for their Christmas Ale, but the intent with each brew remains the same: joy for the changing seasons and celebration of the newness of life. With a heavily guarded, confidential recipe. The 2020 Anchor Christmas Ale is a one-of-a-kind, featuring the highest ABV at 7% and darkest appearance of any vintage. Anchor’s 2020 Christmas Ale is silky-smooth and layered with classic holiday flavors of chocolate, toasted marshmallows and graham crackers - perfect for enjoying at the end of the meal, or around a fire with close friends. This winter warmer teems with aromas of fresh coffee and dark chocolate, and pours with a tight, creamy cappuccino-colored head. Each year a new symbolic hand-drawn tree is chosen for the Christmas Ale label. This year’s label features The Three Graces; three iconic towering sequoias from the Mariposa Grove in California’s Yosemite National Park. This is only the second time in its 46-year history that multiple trees are shown together on the label, a fitting statement to symbolize togetherness and hope in a year when so much time has been spent apart. The Three Graces represent radiance, joy, and flowering – characteristics that we can all hold near during this unprecedented time.

Avery Brewing Company

Old Jubilation Ale

English Strong Ale | 8.3% ABV | Unknown IBU
Offered By: FATBOY
Club/Brewer Notes:
Our winter strong ale has a gorgeous mahogany hue, a hint of hazelnut, and a finish reminiscent of mocha and toffee. No spices, just a perfect blend of five specialty malts. Before founding Avery Brewing Co., one of Adam Avery's most-loved styles of beer was the English Strong Ale. Wanting something a little bigger, he created Old Jubilation. This beer was massive when it came out in 1997, but Adam still decided to put it in 6-packs as a holiday gift to Avery fans. To us, "Old Jube" feels like an old friend coming home for the holidays. And, at 8.3% ABV, it's also well-suited to take the edge off at uncomfortable holiday family gatherings.

Brouwerij Huyghe

Delirium Noel

Belgian-Style Dark Strong Ale | 10% ABV | Unknown IBU
Offered By: SANTA
Club/Brewer Notes:

Clown Shoes Beer

Josh the Boss Hog

American-Style Barley Wine Ale | 11% ABV | Unknown IBU
Offered By: WESTEXANS
Club/Brewer Notes:
Our friends at WhistlePig only release a new version of The Boss Hog every so often. A world-class distiller testing the limits of technique and style with a limited release over a decade in the making? Here, take all our money. When the opportunity presented itself to age a beer in barrels that held their latest release of The Boss Hog, you could say we were a little excited. We’ve always admired WhistlePig’s whiskey and our shared commitments to pushing the boundaries of our respective crafts, and it felt right to combine forces for a truly special barrel-aged release. This Barleywine aged in the same Japanese Umeshu barrels that aged The Samurai Scientist, the sixth release in WhistlePig’s Boss Hog series. With the strong umeshu and rye whiskey notes imparted to these barrels after aging each for over fifteen years combined, head brewer Dan Lipke crafted Josh the Boss Hog specifically with these barrels in mind. Full-bodied malt sweetness and the addition of plum puree in the brewing process made this rich base beer an ideal candidate for added layers of complex flavors from its time in these barrels. Cheers to WhistlePig, and to all the Boss Hogs out there.

COOP Ale Works

Territorial Reserve BBA Rye Wine Ale

American-Style Barley Wine Ale | 12.4% ABV | Unknown IBU
Offered By: SANTA
Club/Brewer Notes:
The 2013 Bourbon Barrel Aged Rye Wine Ale began with several extended days in the brewhouse. Following fermentation, the ale was aged in barrels fro several months. This big, malt-forward beer was well worth the wait. The nose is filled with oak and caramel, leading to superb mouthfeel and intense, warming flavors of toffee and toasted coconut. This beer has much to offer the tastebuds now, but will age quite well.

Lakewood Brewing Co

Lion's Share Anniversay All VIII

Russion-Style Imperial Stout | 15.2% ABV | Unknown IBU
Offered By: DAVO
Club/Brewer Notes:
As it has for the past seven years, Lakewood Brewing Co. will be celebrating its anniversary by releasing a special beer created just for the occasion. That beer is Lion’s Share VIII, a 15.2 percent ABV Russian imperial stout aged in French Caribbean rhum barrels. Rhum is a style of rum that has been distilled in the French Caribbean islands from freshly squeezed sugarcane juice as opposed to the more commonly used molasses.
